Vesuvius Salem
This is the “sister” of their Marblehead location… “Café Vesuvius” however with a different vibe in atmosphere.
Set in the corner location where many restaurants have tried to make their mark in the take out scene. This seems to finally be a good fit for the location.
Parking is plentiful and lots of seating in the dining room. One note, however is that they do not deliver.

What Did We Get:
We decided to give their pizza a try and ordered two basic cheese pizzas with one gluten free crust. I was so happy that they offered this because my daughter is very sensitive to gluten. Our pizza was ready in about 10 minutes and was still warm when we brought back to the house.

Overall:
The pizza was pretty tasty! The flavor very similar to a “Bertucci’s” restaurant pizza yet almost half the price. The gluten free crust was a bit burnt around the edges however this could be because it is a much thinner pizza. I would definitely visit again, and start exploring their other menu items as well.
